When buying a new car, reliability, quality, and customer service are the top priorities for most of us. Like many others, I believed that choosing a Nissan vehicle would ensure a hassle-free ownership experience. Unfortunately, my journey with a Nissan Qashqai Ti 2023 has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to share my story to warn potential buyers.

The Expectations vs. Reality

I chose Nissan for its reputation, expecting a reliable and high-quality car. What I got instead was a series of issues that not only tarnished my experience but also left me frustrated and regretting my decision.

My Experience with the Nissan Qashqai Ti 2023

1. Wheel Arch Issue
Within months of purchase, the wheel arch began sticking to the car, causing irritating noises and ruining my driving experience. It took three months to fix this issue because Nissan couldn’t provide the parts. Even the dealership pointed fingers at Nissan for the delay.

2. Horn Malfunction
Imagine owning a brand-new car and discovering the horn doesn’t work—a basic safety feature! It took another three months to fix this problem, again due to a lack of parts from Nissan.

3. Cruise Control Button Breakage
A cruise control button breaking on a new car? That’s unacceptable. Once again, I endured months of waiting for parts to arrive.

4. Accident Repair Delays

In September 2023, I had an accident and went through my insurance for repairs. It took Nissan until February 2024 to supply the parts, and even then, they sent the wrong ones!

In September 2024, another accident occurred, and my insurance faced the same issues, with Nissan failing to deliver parts on time. As I’m writing this post, the problem still exists.

The Bigger Issue: Lack of Parts

The recurring theme here is Nissan’s inability to provide parts for its own vehicles. Whether it’s minor repairs or significant accident-related parts, the delays are unreasonably long, leaving customers like me stranded and helpless.

People buy new cars for peace of mind and reliability. Instead, my Nissan ownership has been filled with frustration, delays, and disappointment. If a car manufacturer can’t ensure the timely availability of parts, it shouldn’t sell vehicles in the market.

If you’re considering buying a Nissan, think twice. While the cars may look appealing, the reality of dealing with constant issues and abysmal customer service isn’t worth it. My first experience with Nissan will undoubtedly be my last, and I wouldn’t wish this experience on anyone else.

Buying a car is a significant investment. Before choosing a Nissan, consider my story and the potential headaches you might face. Sometimes, reputation doesn’t align with reality, and as a Nissan owner, I’ve learned that the hard way.

Make an informed decision and avoid the regret I’ve had to live with.
