With pride and heartfelt warmth, the 7th annual ceremony honouring university graduates and outstanding students of the Hazara community was held in Sydney, Australia. Organized by the “Saba Hazara Group,” this event brought together members of the community in a vibrant and dignified gathering to celebrate academic excellence and the remarkable achievements of Hazara youth.

In this year’s ceremony, 14 university graduates at the undergraduate level and one distinguished doctoral graduate, Dr. Javid Nader, were honoured with crystal trophies in recognition of their academic accomplishments. Additionally, 10 high school graduates with exceptional academic records were celebrated. Among them, three students stood out with outstanding scores of 99.15, 99.20, and 99.35 — a testament to the brilliance and potential of the emerging generation of Hazaras in Australia, signaling a bright and promising future.
Distinguished speakers, including Dr. Javid Nader and Mr. Barat Al addressed the audience, emphasizing the importance of education, community solidarity, and investment in youth. The evening was further enriched by a soulful performance of traditional Hazara music by young artist Murtaza Hemmati, which added a deeply cultural and emotional dimension to the celebration, strengthening the sense of unity among attendees.
The 7th edition of this annual event once again affirmed the Hazara community’s steady progress in academic, cultural, and social spheres. Dehmazang Magazine congratulates all the honorees — the future is yours to shape.
